Flexible Manufacturing provides the knowledge, skills, and technologies required for employment in the metal technology industry. Knowledge about career opportunities and the development of workplace skills will prepare students for success.

Courses offered in conjunction with El Paso Community College:

  • MCHN 1313 Basic Milling Operations: Dual Credit/Fall Semester
  • MCHN 1308 Basic Lathe: Dual Credit/Spring Semester

Second Year: Advanced Flexible Manufacturing: HT4M2AY2 or HT4M2AD2 (Dual Credit)

Year long course/1.0 credit per semester

Advanced Flexible Manufacturing builds on knowledge and skills developed in the flexible manufacturing industry. Students will develop advanced concepts and skills as they relate to careers in metal technology.

Students will be eligible to test for the American Welding Society (AWS) certification ($20).
